such great heights.

wow, it feels weird posting something without dear chelsea. i hope she reads this anyway:)

i kind of miss blogging. it's therapeutic. and a good way to procrastinate.
life is so different from the last time i blogged. i don't miss certain people anymore, i'm not mad at anyone. i've started guitar lessons! and i've taken up other interests, too. i am much happier. now i'm determined to be a new me. i want to be individual, confident, happy marching to my own percussionist. (see what i did there?) maybe i'll start blogging about events current to the world, inspiring films and productions, moving pieces of music.

first, the fighter. watched it this weekend, and now i can't stop thinking about it. it was a perfect illustration of family dynamics, although put to the extreme. the eklund-ward family felt so real. every single person cast in that movie belonged. that had a huge impact on my opinion of the film. i hate it when i sit there, focusing on how much this one actor/actress doesn't belong in a certain movie. also, the music in the film was fantastic, but maybe i noticed it because we had the movie on full volume so my grandfather could hear. as a side note, i appreciate how amy adams has played such a variety of characters. i think she's fantastic.

i hear my family playing a favorite game of mine (lego loco). time to go, enjoy this week!
